Battle of two cities ends in a tame draw

The sixth annual big match between Rahula College, Matara and St. Aloysius' College, Galle, ended in a tame draw for the sixth consecutive year at Uyanwatte stadium, Matara.

Winning the toss, St. Aloysius' took the first lease of the wicket and scored 274 for eight wickets (Malik Kurer (123), Sandaruwan (32), K. D. Silva (21), W. K. D. Yapa 3 for 67, Nadun Tharanga 1 for 37, B. Viduranga 1 for 24, Dharshana Chaturanga 1 for 54).

Rahula College, Matara 1st innings carried their score to 191 for eight wickets (Dharshana Chaturanga 55, M. Danidu Kawishka 52, P. M. Ekanayaka 44, Malik Kurer 3 for 42, R. Rajas 1 for 37, C. D. Silva 1 for 26).
