Prince of Wales’ College beat Moratu Vidyalaya by five wickets in their initial game of Munchee Inter School Limited overs cricket tournament match played at Moratuwa.

Batting first Vidyalian openers Aloka Priyadarshana 50 with eight fours and Malinga Bandara 25 gave a solid start with 76 runs but the others could not capitalize and they were all out for 133 runs. Dilan Chandima had fine figures of 4 for 26. In reply Cambrians were struggling at 92 for 5 and at this stage Shehan Jayasuriya joined Situm Fernando to put on unfinished 44 runs for the sixth wicket.
