Self employment for 30,000

Labour Relations and Manpower Minister Athauda Seneviratne said they
hope to start 30,000 self employment projects in Sri Lanka before the
end of this year.
He said their purpose of starting this project is to reduce
unemployment.
A session of the Micro financial credit program was held at the
People's Bank auditorium, Kandy.
Financial support for 20 persons who are going to start self
employment was given at this program.
"We have already taken steps to give financial support to people who
hope to start self employment as a team," Ministry Secretary Mahinda
Madihahewa said.
