Development projects in Hanwella

Minister of Youth Empowerment and Socio Economic Development Arumugan Thondaman has allocated Rs. 1.2 million through his ministry to develop the living condition of underprivileged community in the Hanwella estate area.

The water supply needs have been implemented for the welfare of rural workers who faced hardships due to shortage of water in the past few years in the Penirith Estate, Lower division in Avissawell and the Cultural Hall to the Elston Lower Division were also reconstructed.
