A stock of medicinal drugs
worth Rs. 4 million collected by the Foreign Ministry with
the support of Sri Lankan Embassies and High Commissions
abroad was handed over to the Defence Ministry yesterday for
the use of soldiers engaged in humanitarian operations in
the North. Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama handed over
the consignment of medicinal drugs to Defence Secretary
Gothabaya Rajapaksa at the Foreign Ministry. Deputy Foreign
Minister Hussein Bhaila is also in the picture.
