Prince of Wale's College beat St. Sebastian's College by an innings and 27 runs in their inter-school "Mini Battle" played at former's grounds.

Winning the toss and electing to bat Sebs scored 146 runs. Sampath Mahen captured 4 for 29 runs. Cambrians replied with 226 runs with C. Udayanga unbeaten on 49 and Thushara Alwis 40. Malith Alwis bagged 5 for 77 for the visitors. In their second essay Sebs were skittled out for a paltry 53 with C. Udayanga claiming 4 for 11 runs.

SBC - 146 (Malith de Alwis 36, Vinoshan Alwis 32, Ashen Fernando 28, Sampath Mahen 4/29, Savia Wijesuriya 2/35) and 53 (C. Udayanga 4/11, Savia Wijesuriya 2/12).
