Training for 900 police officers

Nine hundred probationary police officers are presently receiving training at the police training college of Kalutara.

According to the police college, the following category of police officers are receiving training; 14 ASPs three women ASPs, 171 sub-inspectors, 97 women sub-inspectors, 360 police constables and 240 women police constables.

These officers are receiving training in inspection of hospitals and court proceedings.
