Prophet Mohammed's Birthday celebrations

The National Meelad-un-Nabi celebrations will be held on March 10 at
9.30 a.m. at the Jumma Mosque, Godapitiya, Akuressa.
Co-Chairmen are Religious Affairs Minister Pandu Bandaranaike and
Home Affairs Minister Chandrasiri Gajadheera. Petroleum and Petroleum
Resources Development Minister A.H.M. Fowzie will be the Chief Guest
while Posts and Telecommunication Minister Mahinda Wijesekera will be
the Guest of Honour.
Ministers Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Dullas Alahapperuma, Lakshman
Yapa Abeywardene and Western Province Governor Alavi Moulana will
participate. |
