Over 300,000 worship Dalada

Over 300,000 devotees have paid homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic during the past three days, Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela Bandara said.

The exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic began last Friday and has been extended until March 16.

Devotees can pay homage to the Tooth Relic between 1 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. everyday. Large number of foreigners including diplomats have also paid homage to the Sacred Relic during the last three days, Diyawadane Nilame said. Visitors are provided with food and other facilities with the assistance of the Kandy District Secretariat and Municipal Council, Kandy.
