Hemas Hospitals expands with second facility in Galle

The official opening of the state-of-the-art Hemas Southern Hospital took place in Galle yesterday under the patronage of the Governor of the Southern Province Kumari Balasuriya and Chief Minister of the Southern Province Shan Wijelal De Silva.

Mayor of Galle Methsiri de Silva, Chairman, Hemas Hospital Murtaza Esufally, Chief Operating Officer, Hemas Southern Hospital Dr. Sajeewa Narangoda and Director, Medical Services, Hemas Hospital Dr. Aruna Rabel look on.

Strategically located on the Galle - Wakwella Road in close proximity to the Galle Town, the Hemas Southern Hospital is a fifty-bed facility.

With the support of a team of eminent specialist consultants and equipped with all modern equipment, the Hospital is geared to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of the Southern Province.

The in-patient facility easily ranks the best among the private hospitals in the Southern Province. Chairman Hemas Hospitals Murtaza Esufally said, “We’re happy to bring our patient-centric, affordable, high quality health services to the people of the Southern Province within months of the launch of our flagship Wattala Hospital.
