Cuban daily denounces US anti-Cuban mission
Cuba: Caleb McCarry, proconsul of the Bush Plan for the
annexation of Cuba has left that post, but will continue his anti-Cuban
activities in another entity, Granma daily denounced on Wednesday.
Under the title: The “proconsul” is leaving, but he is continuing
with subversion, the newspaper said the mentioned figure has left his
post, after enjoying two years of salary, to join Creative Associates
International, a company of the gloomy CIA.
Creative Associates is a subsidiary of the US Agency for
International Development (USAID) with over $1.5 billion per year to
carry out international subversion operations.
McCarry, ex official of ultraconservative Jesse Helms’ office and son
of an ex Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent, had been appointed in
2005 by Condoleezza Rice, Bush’s State Secretary, to administer the plan
to annex Cuba to the United States.
Granma said the mentioned figure joined Creative Associates
International with the title of Main Presidential Advisor, although
well-informed sources in Miami asserted that the so called “Coordinator
for Transition in Cuba” turned his departure from the commission created
by Bush into a true embezzlement.
McCarry transferred no less than thousands of dollars from two-year
remuneration to his personal bank account, under the dodge of
compensation.
The Bush administration official also gathered other sums of money
from the projects oriented to destabilize the Cuban Revolution.
Observers said McCarry would continue his anti-Cuban activities in
Creative Associates International, besides ordering similar aggressions
to other countries.
