Aggreko sponsors Royal rugby

Aggreko International Power projects will sponsor the Royal College Rugby team this year.

James Shepherd, Managing Director and CEO of Aggreko handed over the sponsorship cheque to the Royal College Principal Upali Gunasekara at the college premises recently.

"Royal College is a prestigious school in Sri Lanka. We will sponsor their first 15 Rugby team for the first time this year we hope to sponsor their Rugby in the future too," said James Shepherd.

'Aggreko' has patronised and helped to develop rugby in Sri Lanka during last fifteen years. We are also sponsoring World Cup 75 in Dubai and 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancour, Canada - Aggreko also sponsored tennis in Sri Lanka for the last ten years.

'Aggreko' international power projects is based in Dubai. Their MD/CEO (South and West Asia) played in the Scottish under 18 rugby team.

Duminda Attyalle, Athula Munasinghe, Leon Fonseka, Thio Serafim Anthony Smith, Haren Malwatte, Naren Dhason, Anura Wanigasinghe, Sudath Liyanagunawardane, Suresh Subramaniam and Ajita Pasqual also graced the occasion.
