little over 200 golfers made of its corporate clients and invitees
participated in the stableford format, the over all winner was B.K. Jun.

City Football league's Division III tournament which commenced last
week continued last weekend with five matches played at Cooray Park and
P.D. Sirisena Ground, Maligawatte.
Moragasmulla Sports Club had the best goal aggregate of goals during
the weekend scoring four goals against a one time leading club black
square 4 goals to nil.

Eight runners for Asian Cross Country
The Athletic Association of Sri Lanka has selected the following
eight athletes (4 men, 4 women) to compete in the tenth cross country
which is scheduled to be held on March 1 in Bahrain. Two officials will
accompany the team.
The team, Men. A.M. Ajith Bandara, K.G. Ravindra Saman Kumara, R.M.
Pushpakumara, R.M. Samantha Pushpakumara.
Women - D.A. Shanika Samanmalee, Lakmini Anuradhi Bogahawatte, D.A.

Moratu Vidyalaya beat Asoka Vidyalaya, Colombo by six wickets and
recorded their eleventh outright victory in their inter-school under 19
cricket tournament match played at Moratuwa. Ananda College, Colombo
leading with twelve outright victories for this season.

CAMR Trophy TT C'ship
The Ceylon Association for the Mentally Retarded will host the
Japanese Table Tennis knock out championship tournament tomorrow at
435/1, Galle Road, Mount Lavinia. Eight teams have confirmed their
participation each team comprising six players. The winner will go away
with the CAMR Champions Trophy. |
