First innings win

St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa beat St. Anne's College, Kurunegala on first innings in their inter-school Under-19 cricket match played at Moratuwa.

Resuming at the overnight score of 185 for 4 the two not out batsmen Brian Paul and Oshada Fernando batted cautiously and brought the score to a comfortable position. Paul scored 34 while Fernando contributed 27 runs.

In reply, visitors were all out for 204 runs with C.D. Silva 40 and S.S. Silva 41. Amila Aponso captured 5 for 35.
