CCC pledges support

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) reiterated its commitment to empowering the Government's declaration of 2009 as the Year of ICT and English recently.

Chairman Jayampathi Bandaranayake pledged his support to the President, Mahinda Rajapakse at the official launch held recently at the Presidential Secretariat. The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce pledged to set up a private sector fund that will help take English to the regions. This is in keeping with the Chamber's mission of promoting the Millennium Development Goals and nurturing Corporate Social Responsibility.
