MTI forum on 'Tough Times-Tough Strategies'
MTI Consulting has organised a forum on Tough Times - Tough
Strategies - Are you ready for the Upturn? on March 11 at 6 pm at the
Trans Asia Hotel.
MTI CEO Hilmy Cader will make a presentation which will be followed
by an interactive session with an eminent panel comprising Amal Cabraal,
Chairman, Unilever Sri Lanka, Lalith De Mel, Chairman, Hemas Holdings,
Nihal Fonseka CEO, DFCC Bank and Pravir Samarasinghe, Director/COO,
Richard Pieris and Company.
MTI Consulting is an international strategy consultancy complemented
by Research and Analytics Services, supplementing a wide range of up to
date insight on the current tough times and challenges.
According to research most companies are taking a passive stance of
'wait and see'.
The underlying problem with this reaction is that others could make
the first move and take advantage. There are other companies that are
indiscriminately cost cutting by retrenching or closing operations.
Ideally, such action should support a new strategy.
Commenting at the initial impactful forum held early this year, which
was attended by members of leading business organizations in Sri Lanka,
MTI CEO Hilmy Cader said, "We should not wait for the tough times to
Think and Act Lean; it should be a part of the organizational DNA in
bull and bear markets". The panel discussion which follows the
presentation will give an opportunity for the Corporate Leaders in Sri
Lanka to share different insights on countering these tough times and
how to strategize to get ready for the upturn.
MTI Consulting core business strategy solutions include Strategic
Planning, Re-Structuring, Research and Analytics as well as specialized
