Final Mission

Once the sky, over this tiny island,
Was so dark and many a man reckoned
That the rays of peace would never fall
As the brutality of terrorists was no small.

The mission of the Heroes of this land
Even an infant can undoubtedly understand;
A united country for all to live in harmony
Is not far with this Mullaithivu victory.

Smashing the barriers, the heroes of our nation
March forward with morale and determination
Till they wipe out the darkness of terrorism
Letting the rays of peace full with patriotism.

The Lions smile as they have little far to go
To liberate this land from the separatists' war;
From Marvil Aru to Mullaithivu, the journey is done
Allowing the peace of sun to shine all over
And May the peace of sun shine forever!
(Dedicated to all Heroes who strove to capture Mullaithivu)

Why grieve, life is unstable

On earth, there one has born
One day, he makes others mourn
No notice here, where he has gone
No one knows or has seen

It may be at the tender age of twenty
Or quite old at one's eighty
It happens so and that's inevitable

Why grieve, life is unstable
Who else on earth lived permanently
Woe, visa issued to stay temporarily
When creditor calls the money back
Then you pay at sight, no setback

Hope

Mighty ocean continuously sighs
Every broken wave painfully cries
Dark tainted clouds slowly glide
Through the dusk a new sun may rise

Sleepless eyes glow reflecting exhaustion
Waken spirits desperately seek protection
Safe journeys through nasty wild waters
Vigourous ocean rocks the fortune of dependents

Slender palms swing to nature's tunes
Whistling winds blast across the ocean
Tossing vessels sail along distant horizon
Destined towards golden sandy beaches

Fragile lives fight for ultimate existence
Leave emotions beyond every acceptance
Thoughts of hope spark within hearts
Keep the faith exactly focused on future

Bravo ! Soldier boys of Mother Lanka

Gallant warriors, heroic sons of Mother Lanka
We revere, respect and salute you
For your courageous undeterred onslaught
In crushing and vanquishing the rebels.

Patience, forgiveness, plea for peace
Were unheard, ignored, scoffed and jeered
The robust the handsome courageous brilliant
Were targeted by the claymore bullet and sniper

'T was the time you took the Bold
To behold and save your Mother Land
Reminiscing warriors who died and Bled
And strived to save No Man's Land

Let not go the leash in your hands
Your sweat and blood fragrant the air
Making us feel we are destined somewhere
We see you dead, limbless in despair

Brave husbands, fathers, brothers, sons of Lanka
We feel the stress, hazards you bear
Don't dream of reversing, the rainbow's there
Go! Go! to the helm is our prayer.

Hats off to the chiefs of our Forces
And the higher-arch's determined decision
They gave you the strength and enforcements
Bravo dear warriors you our saviors.

Full Moon blues

These solitary nights
I look beyond
Taking the darkness
Embracing the wind
That soft current
Bringing comfort
Where the mountains were
Now sporadic lights
gleam in the darkness
Longing for light
My gaze turn
To the stars above
Sparklers, pin point lights
I curse the clouds
To move on quick
I yearn for a full moon
Then the dogs are silent
So music its touch
kindle my senses
When the moon blues
Depress and thaw
Tatterd emotions
Beneath moon light
Revives raw nerves
Keeping company to,
The solitude of a man

An experience

Walking along the beach of Pondicherry
Meloncholy was the breeze
A French colony out of all States
Made a difference with full of glee.

Every corner, a shop or a grocery
Let it be a coffee shop or else where
A picture seen of a gracious lady
Keeps smiling all the time.

So calm and pure was the atmosphere
To the tomb we all bow down
Oh! Sri Aurobindo thou lord
Gave me the assurance of Mother Divine

The Auroville village a sacred one
So unique was the place
Filled my soul with evening rays
Oh! How I felt, the words cannot express.

Oh! Mother, the Universal Mother
Peace that makes your presence felt
Oh! Please give us the energy and coverage
To be awaken to the Supreme Realisation.
