New pavilion and scoreboard for Thurstan

The opening of the Deshabandu Kumar Devapura pavilion and Lal Wijeratne scoreboard of Thurstan College by the Minister of Sports and Public Recreation Gamini Lokuge and Northern Province Governor Dickson Sarathchandra Dela Bandara took place at the College ground last Friday.

To mark the occasion Thurstan College organised a Twenty20 cricket tournament and Trinity College, Kandy emerged champions and Thurstan College won the runners-up award.
