Work stoppages at Athens International Airport
GREECE: Air traffic controllers say they plan to stage work stoppages
at Athens International Airport Wednesday, which will likely disrupt
flights to the Greek capital.
The controllers had planned a 24-hour strike but a court in Athens
ruled late Tuesday that the protest was illegal.
The controllers are demanding better health care benefits and say
they will announce alternative protest plans shortly. The strike might
now take the form of a series of shorter work stoppages.
