Vice Chairman at ICC Lanka
The following changes were made to the Executive Board of the
International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICC)
Michael Peiris of Union Bank who was associated with ICC Sri Lanka
for over 30 years resigned recently from the post of Vice Chairman, a
media release said.
Peiris contributed tremendously to the success of ICC Sri Lanka,
particularly in the banking sector over the years.
Mangala P.B. Yapa, Managing Director/CEO, Colombo Dock Yard PLC has
been elected Vice Chairman.
NCCSL AGM
The 50th Annual General Meeting of the National Chamber of Commerce
of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will be held on January 30 at 5.30pm at the Hotel
Galadari.
The NCCSL was founded in 1948 after Sri Lanka gained independence
from British rule as a forum to voice the concerns of the local business
community.
The chief guest will be Minister of Export Development and
International Trade Prof. G. L. Peiris. |
