Unemployment in CP needs to be solved - UNP

The Central Province contributes 26 per cent to the national development but only one per cent is returned, UNP Central Province Chief Ministerial candidate S.B. Dissanayake said.

“Kandy suffers from unemployment. The Government does not have a plan. I promise to solve the unemployment problem in the Kandy region,” he said. Speaking at the new UNP Office opening ceremony he urged the people of Matale to be mindful about the present condition.

Matale District MP Ranjith Aluvihare, former Central Province Chief Minister CP Wasantha Aluvihare and UNP candidates also spoke.
