A setback for Tigers - Malwatte Anunayake

The LTTE considered once as an invincible outfit, is withdrawing from their heartland and their setback clearly signals an end to terrorism from this country, Anunayake of the Malwatte Chapter Venerable Niyangoda Wijithasiri Thera said.

People longing for a peaceful country will definitely appreciate the victory of Mullaitivu, the Thera said.

"We must commend this victory of our Forces irrespective of party politics. The benefits of this victory will not be confined to one section alone," the Thera said.
