Not me, says Minister

Livestock Development Deputy Minister A. Bais denied any involvement of himself or his supporters in the recent attack at Market Place in Arachchikattuwa as alleged by a UNP candidate contesting the Provincial Council elections.

Minister Bais said UNP candidates were making such allegations to win the sympathy of the people and draw some votes for the party. He said it has been noticed that supporters of the UNP candidates were engaged pasting posters at public places removing the posters of candidates of other parties.
