The mobile services from Airtel are available with the number prefix
075. The call charges to any newtowrk or from Airtel to Airtel would be
Rs. 2 while an SMA to any network would be Re. 1.
The 3.5G services will be available to Airtel customers in Colombo,
Kandy and Galle during the first phase of launch.

scale by any mobile operator in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) in its strategy to develop tourism
events is promoting Ramayana Pilgrim Tours to Sri Lanka.
"We consider this as a great event which is now happening regularly
and are fully supportive of the efforts of the Development Authority to
develop Asoka Vathika sites in Sri Lanka to attract more and more
Ramayanaya groups from India in to Sri Lanka," says General Manager of
the Bureau (SLCB) Vipula Wanigasekera. Director General of Sri Lanka
Tourism S. Kalaiselvam said that this concept is fast catching up in
India with several tourists specially arriving to go on this trail.
SLCB last week also presented a Ramayanaya cultural program to a
group of 200 Swamis and devotees who were enthralled by the performance.
The Ramnayanaya episode was presented by Aru Sri Art Theatre and
Chandana Wickramasinghe Dance Academy. |
