Interruption to water supply

National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply to the following areas will be interrupted for 10 hours from 9.00 am on Saturday the January 03 up to 7.00 pm to carry out essential maintenance work in transmission main at the fly over construction site at Orugodawatta.

The affected areas Fort, Ellihouse, Base Line Road, Borella area, Maligawatta, Layards Broadway, Central Road, Viwekananda Hill, Maha Vidyala Mawatha, Wolfendhal Road, Mattakkuliya, Crow Island, Central Road, Fergusans Road, Church Street, Lower Andrews Road, Upper Andrews Road, Kadirana Watta, Modara Street, Sri Wickramapura, Kotahena, Mahawatta and Subuerb areas and also Stace Road, Orugodawatta area, Nawagampura, Bloemendhal, Grandpass, Wellampitiya, Koththampahuwa, Kotuwila and Sedawatta Old Road.

The Board regrets the inconvenience caused to the consumers and request them to collect their water requirement in advance.
