PC polls deadline

The acceptance of deposits for the forthcoming Central and Wayamba Provincial Council elections will conclude at 12.00 noon on December 30, and receiving of nominations will conclude at 12 noon on December 31, Elections Commissioner, Dayananda Dissanayaka announced yesterday.

All deposits will be accepted by District Returning Officers at the respective Divisional Secretariats from 8.30 am - 4.15 p.m. Deposits and nominations will not be received on Saturday and Sunday (27/28) as they are public holidays.
