many elements both internal and external working behind the screen
to stall the advance of the Security Forces and urged all patriotic

PC polls deadline
The acceptance of deposits for the forthcoming
Central and Wayamba Provincial Council elections will conclude at
12.00 noon on December 30, and receiving of nominations will
conclude at 12 noon on December 31, Elections Commissioner,
Dayananda Dissanayaka announced yesterday.
