Dr. Kumarasinghe scholarship

The Council of the Institute of Chemistry will award a scholarship in the name of Dr. Sudath Kumarasinghe to a student following the Graduateship Programme on January 1 at 4 p.m.

Professor D. T. B. Tennekoone will deliver the Sudath Kumarasinghe Oration "Green Chemistry" Back to Earth" on this occasion at the Institute of Chemistry auditorium.

Dr. Kumarasinghe was a devoted member of the institute and was Secretary for Educational Affairs during mid 1980s and was Graduateship Examination Coordinator. He has contributed to produce many reputed chemists both from the institute and from the Kelaniya University.
