Christmas brings us closer to God
We were created to have an intimate relationship with God, but
because of our own stubborn self will we chose to go our own independent
way and our fellowship with God was broken. This self will characterised
by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference is an
evidence of what the Bible call sin. Our Lord Jesus was born to bridge
the broken relationship between God and man. This is the meaning of
Christmas.
We are separated from God. God is Holy that means entirely free from
moral evil and absolutely perfect in motive and behaviour.

Birth of Christ |
We are sinful which means not living up to God's perfect standard
this creates a gap that separates us from God. We are trying to reach
God to establish a personal relationship with Him through Philosophy,
religion or by depending on our own efforts such as leading a good moral
life, but we fail, that is why Jesus came into this world.
The Lord Jesus is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we
can know God personally and experience His love.
If you experience that unconditional and pure love you can celebrate
Christmas everyday.
God demonstrates His own love to us in that while we were yet sinners
the Lord Jesus died for us. No Jesus No Christmas.
Jesus said I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to
the father but by me.
Christmas brings us closer to God if we really know the meaning of
what we celebrate.
Our Lord Jesus was born 2008 years ago and still we don't know the
real meaning of what we celebrate. Many of us think that Christmas is a
time for eating, drinking and making merry. But, what about the gift of
love that was given to us by God on that first Christmas day? Is there
no room for Him in your heart this Christmas?
We must individually receive Christ as saviour and Lord then we can
Know Him personally and experience His perfect and pure love.
If we don't experience a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus
then Christmas would be just another celebration and the reason of His
birth would be of no value to us. Christmas is not only for Christians
but for all who believe in the Savoir of this world and know Him
personally.
The Bible says but to all who believed in Him to them He gave the
right to become Children of God.
May you experience the Love Peace and presence of our Lord this
Christmas.
