Will Army over run NYSC

Ratnam Sports Club which regained the top position on Wednesday after beating Saunders Sports Club, will have no difficulty this weekend to stay in front when they confront bottom placed Java Lane SC at CR and FC grounds.

Ratnams the defending champions are now assured of a semi-final berth in the Dialog Premier League.

Meanwhile in the same group the previous week’s leaders Air Force will take on Saunders Sports Club.

They too are confident of reaching the semi-final, even the remaining two matches end in draws.

The other teams in this group have no chance of overcoming the two group leaders as there are only two games left which adds only six points which is not sufficient for any team to go up in the points table.

In segment B 1 the table leaders Kandy York SC and the runners-up Don Bosco clash will be of great interest to both teams.

It looks like must win game for Don Bosco as their follows Hyline SC is only two points behind and a win by Hyline against Super Beach could put them in line for a semi-final berth.

The Sarasavi SC and Golden Star game should see Sarasavi win if they are to remain in top place. Both teams Old Bens and Golden Star SC are equal points (19) and it is a vital for Old Bens to win their game here against Red Sun SC. Red Sun placed fourth in the group have no chance of reaching the semis even with two from games that is left to be played.
