Schools close on December 5

Sinhala and Tamil Government Schools will close for the third term vacation on December 5.

The first term for next year will commence on January 5 and end on April 8.

That third term holiday will be from December 06, 2008 to January 04, 2009.

The third term for Muslim Government Schools will end on January 4, 2009.

It will end on April 8, 2009, an Education Ministry release stated.
