A Ministerial Committee has been appointed to study the oil hedging agreement.

Export Development and Internal Trade Minister Prof G.L. Peiris told yesterday's Cabinet briefing that four Ministers, Petroleum Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Health and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, Investment Promotion Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama and himself had been appointed to study the oil hedging agreement.

Media and Information Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation failed to reveal the hedging agreement to Cabinet.
