Bad weather warning

COLOMBO: Meteorologist S.R. Jayasekara of the Meteorology Department yesterday told the Daily News that the bad weather conditions originated due to the heavy rains will continue till tomorrow in most parts of the country.

The atmospheric disturbance which was in the vicinity of Sri Lanka has intensified into a low pressure area

located just off the South Eastern coast he added. Due to the influence of this change, the prevailing rainy weather may continue over most parts of the country. Fishermen in the South Eastern cost are cautioned to be vigilant.
