Lanka's tallest building gets off

The proposed Sri Lanka’s tallest building

The ground breaking ceremony to construct Sri Lanka's tallest building, Landmark Towers at Bataramulla was held on Saturday. Suchirneb Project Private Limited will invest US$ 250 million for this 2.5 million square feet project.

This project comprises two towers one is a seventy storied residential condominium complex, while other tower is a forty storied commercial complex.

Suchirneb is an Indian based infrastructure company working in collaboration with SREI Singapore Company.

The company is targeting Sri Lankan customers as well as expatriate community. Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayake and several Ministers also participated.
