Krishnamurti talk

A recorded public talk delivered by J. Krishnamurti on 'Creation is never-ending' will be replayed at the Public Library Auditorium, Colombo 7 at 10.30 am on Sunday, November 16.

The talk is organised by the Krishnamurti Centre, Sri Lanka Inc.


Kala Ulela

The Kala Ulela of Dharmaraja College will be held at the College Auditorium commencing 2.30 p.m. on November 14. The chief guest will be the talented musician Dr. Kolitha Bhanu Dissanayaka, Dean of the Faculty of Music, University of Aesthetic Studies - Colombo.

The top artistic talent in the school will be honoured at this grand function. Among those to be honoured at the national level this year, with the prestigious "Dharmaraja Pranama", will be Irangani Serasinghe.


Fundraiser

The Y's Mens Club of Moratuwa will stage a Kaffringha Nite at the Ranmal Holiday Resort, Gorakana on November 15. The proceeds of this show will be utilised mainly to uplift the lives of less fortunate children by way of sponsorship for three years.


Get-together

A special get-together has been organised by the Past Pupils Association of Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda to raise funds for the construction of the College Gymnasium Complex.

The event will be held at the Galle Face Hotel Colombo on November 15 from 6 p.m. onwards. For further details contact the Organising Committee on 0714453870/0716862395.


Memorial service

The Old Boys Association of De Mazenod College for the eighth consecutive year, is organising a memorial service for departed Old Mazenodian Armed Services personnel on Saturday, November 15 at the College Chapel at Kandana. Holy mass will be offered by the College Chaplain at 8 am.

The OBA has also organised a blood donation camp on the same day from 9 am to 3 pm at the College Hall in association with the Blood Bank of the General Hospital, Ragama.
