Bus accident kills 24 in India
INDIA - At least 24 people are dead following a bus accident
in the mountainous north of India.
The Press Trust of India quoted police Supt. Rajendra Mohan Sharma as
saying the bus plunged 650 feet (200 meters) into a gorge near the
popular skiing resort of Kufri on Tuesday. The resort is nearly 200
miles (320 kilometers) north of New Delhi.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
