Rukshan Best Boxer at Junior Nationals

St. Sylvester’s College Kandy edged out Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club by just two points to win the overall championship at the ABA Junior National Boxing Champ[ionship which concluded at the Royal College Hall, Reid Avenue yesterday.

The Sylvestrians collected a total of 20 points with the runners up Airmen scoring 18 points followed by Kingswood College with 17 points.

St. Sylvester’s College also produced the best boxer at the meet in the form of L. K. G. N. Rukshan while P. K. Pitigala from St. Aloysius College Galle was selected as the best loser.
