Moratu Vidyalaya well placed

Moratu Vidyalaya is heading for the third successive outright victory in their third outing of this inter-school cricket season.

They are well placed with 228 for 7 at the end of the day one after bowling out Kalutara Vidyalaya for a paltry 120 runs being played at Moratuwa. Chatura Vithane did most of the damage with his leg spin bowling by claiming 5 for 28 runs. For the homesters the in-form Chatura Hemakumara top scored with 80 runs. Asoka Priyadharshana contributed 48 runs. Both of them associated a third wicket partnership of 71 runs.
