'Pears Safe Hands' art competition at Dehiaththakandiya

With the aim of uplifting the maternal and paediatric health in Sri Lanka Pears Safe Hand Fund successfully completed its 11th project of developing and refurbishing the maternal and paediatric wards in Dehiaththakandiya Government Hospital. Along with this event an art competition was held for children 5-12 in the themes "My beautiful village" and "Good customs".

The 10 finalists of this competition were awarded gifts and certificates recently at the hospital premises with the participation of Dr. Krishantha Pieris, Dr. Malki Bandaranayake, Damika Wijesinghe and Head Sister A.R. Premawathie. Navoda Gamlath and Mahinda Pathirana from Pears Safe Hands were also present.
