Senior Citizens Scrabble Tourney

The annual All Island Senior Citizens Scrabble Tournament will be held on Sunday, November 2, at the Colombo Hilton and provide participants over the age of 50 with another exciting opportunity to enjoy their skills and also to met up with other scrabble enthusiasts.

The tournament will be conducted in two categories. "A' the championship group will be played according to International scrabble rules, and using words from the New Colins Scrabble Words and Dictionary, while the "B" group will be played using the Oxford English Dictionary.

The winners will be awarded the Deshamanya Clara Motwani, Challenge Cup. Trophies will also be awarded for the Highest Game Score and the Highest Word Score. There will also be spot prizes for every event.
