ICICI Bank awards 100% bill refund to Arpico shoppers

Sachin Sikka handing over the cheque to D.T.A. Joseph, winner of the six month wipe out. Customer Relationship Manager, Richard Pieris Distributors Ltd. Anil Senewiratne looks on.

ICICI Bank, India's second largest bank, entered into a strategic long term agreement with Richard Pieris and Co. in November 2007 whereby all shoppers who patronise any Arpico Supercentre in Sri Lanka will be entitled to shopping deals as well as preferred banking services and discounts.

One of the many privileged shopping deals are that customers could even get a 100% rebate on their shopping bills for the full year, half or quarter year and also get guaranteed discounts every time they shop at Arpico using an ICICI Bank Debit Card.

Recently both partners awarded a 100% refund to two lucky shoppers at the Dehiwala Arpico Supercentre. The first being D.T.A. Joseph for six months of shopping bills and the other lucky winner being O.A. Jayawardena for three months shopping bills.

Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Liabilities, ICICI Bank, Sri Lanka Branch, Sachin Sikka, said "We are glad that customers of both ICICI Bank, Sri Lanka and Arpico are able to avail themselves of maximum savings while shopping, whilst in addition they also can make use of guaranteed discounts every time they shop using the ICICI Bank Debit card". "As a result of this tie-up, both entities have leveraged their strengths and synergies for delivering value added benefits and facilities to customers. It has been a win-win tie-up for Arpico and ICICI Bank as well as the customers of both entities," said Sikka.
