Abandoned toddler handed over to hospital

A two month old female infant was found abandoned near a home in Galawilawatte in Homagama yesterday by the Homagama police who handed the baby over to the Homagama Base Hospital.

The infant who was found to be in good health was being kept at the special unit of the children's ward of the hospital according to Director of the Hospital Dr. A. Karunaratne.
