The first set saw a head to head battle between the two teams which ended in favour of the Taipei spikers 26-24. They maintained a better lead in the second set to end at 25-19.

The home team were able to pose a threat to the Taipei spikers in the third set which they came up with a better blocking and dashing to win the set at 19-25.

But the visitors were far ahead of them and showed their brilliance to win the fourth set 25-13 to finish the game 3-1 beating Lankans.
