EMP Engineering in dramatic turnaround

EMP Engineering (Pvt) Ltd ,manufacturers and exporters of electrical
switchboards and cable light systems and accessories announced a growth
of 2000 per cent of the company after taking over by the new management
five years ago.

Chairman of the company, Chandananda Diyunage said the new management
had to purchase the company with a Rs 35 million bank loan which was
running at a loss and the new management was able to pay the loan and
make high profits within five years.
The company is situated at the Templeburg Industrial Estate at
Panagoda and export their products to India, Singapore, Maldives,
Middle-East and South Africa. Their product range includes floor
standing modular type panels, wall mounted type enclosures, equipment
data racks and total cable management systems. Thirteen employees who
served with the company for the last five years were awarded a gold
pendants and a trophy in appreciation of their contribution.
Children of the employees were presented with a bank account from NDB
Bank.
EMP is equipped with the Lanka’s only modern CNC machinery and
tooling systems, enabling quality bulk production.
It has a complete set up to conduct our manufacturing processes
including in house designing, fabricating, powder coating and electrical
assembly and writing.
These activities are “value added” by the packaging and logistic
departments of EMP Engineering.
