Moratu MV trounce Lumbini

Moratu Vidyalaya trounced the formidable Lumbini Vidyalaya by an
innings and 16 runs in their very first under-19 Inter Schools Cricket
Tournament match for the season concluded at Moratuwa.
Visitors scored 153 runs in their fist essay and homesters replied
with 273 runs. In their second outing Lumbini was shot out for a paltry
80 runs occupying the crease for only ninety minutes in the morning
session of day two and Vidyalians were home for lunch.
Chatura Hemakumara was instrumental in bringing this victory of
Vidyalians bagging 3 for 1 which was a hat-trick and a match bag of 5
for 32 runs. He was ably supported by Chatura Vithane from the other end
who took 3 for 16.
