Katina Pinkama at Sri Maha Bodhi on November 10-11

Ven. Pallegama Sirinivasa Nayaka Thera the Anuradhapura Atamasthanadhipathi has announced that the 2008 annual Katina Maha Pinkama of the Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya will be held on November 10 and 11 at Bodhimalu Viharaya, Anuradhapura.

An all night Pirith chanting will be held on the 10th and followed by the Katina Wastra being taken to Anuradhapura Tissarama Viharaya early next morning. On the 11th Pirikara will be offered to the Maha Sangha who chanted Pirith earlier in the night and Sanghagatha Dakshina will follow.
