Food poisoning hospitalises 18

DEHIWELA: Eighteen students of the German Technical Institute (GTI) were admitted to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital following food poisoning.

The students had got sick after eating kottu for breakfast yesterday from the Institute's canteen.

The kottu had been prepared with rotten eggs, a lecturer of the Institute said.

Public Health Inspectors are investigating.
