HNB Main Branch moves to Green Path

The Main Branch of Hatton National Bank situated at R.A De Mel Mawatha was recently relocated at No 38, Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha, Green Path, Colombo and will hereafter be called the HNB Green Path customer centre.

Miththapala at WTIF, Korea

President of the Sri Lanka Tourist Hotels Association (THASL) and CEO of Serendib Leisure Hotels Srilal Miththapala has been invited by the World Tourism Investment Forum to address its next summit which will be held October 6 to 9 in Busan, Korea.

This year's summit will have 400 participants from 46 countries.

He will address the gathering on eco tourism and will highlight the success of Hotel Sigiriya as a case study for environmental and energy conservation and its impact on the bottom line.

Hotel Sigiriya received first place in the International Restaurants and Hotels Awards (IRHA), Green Award showcasing the hotels efforts at the highest level for conserving environment also making it the only hotel in Sri Lanka to have won a green award in the USA.
