Ramazan celebrated in grand style

Muslims throughout Ampara District celebrated Ramadhan Festival (Eid ul Fitr) in a grandeur manner yesterday.

Muslims in Akkaraipattu, Addalaichenai, Nintavur, Sainthamaruthu, Kalmunai, Pottuvil and Sammanthurai after participating in special 'Eid Ul Fitr' prayers in their respective Mosques, exchanged Salams and 'Musahba'. Special recital 'Thuwa' for peace and harmony in the country too was recited by 'Katheebs' who conducted prayers yesterday.
