Jetwing's Pot Black Tourney

Jetwing St. Andrew's together with Hatton National Bank will host a 06 Ball Pot Black Snooker Tournament on 18th October 2008 at St. Andrew's Hotel Nuwara Eliya. This will be the first time in the history of Jetwing St. Andrew's that such an event of this magnitude will be conducted, with the blessings of Billiards and Snooker Association of Sri Lanka.

Jetwing St. Andrew's possess probably one of the historic Billiards and Snooker Table that is in good condition in Sri Lanka. Much myths and legends surrounds this Billiards and Snooker table of Jetwing St. Andrew's which probably dates back to late 1800s or very early 1900s.

The tournament is expected to start at 09.30 a.m on 18th October 2008 and complete on the same day followed by the awards ceremony Billiards and Snooker Association will be present on the occasion. Entry forms can be obtained directly from the hotel by contacting on 052/2222445. Entries close on 27th September 2008. The draw will be held on 08th October 2008 at 4.00 p.m at the Headquarters of Billiards & Snooker Association of Sri Lanka in Colombo 07.
